February 13. “The Lessons of the Peter Reilly Case and Why Miscarriages of Justice Keep on Happening in Connecticut.” Author and independent journalist Donald S. Connery, a Kent resident and an authority on wrongful convictions, will speak at the Kent Memorial Library at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 13. Copies of Mr. Connery’s 1977 book on Litchfield County’s famous “wrong man” case about Peter Reilly, “Guilty Until Proven Innocent” has just been released in an updated paperback edition and will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
